As usual, MLB wants it both ways–have pre-dawn games last week in Japan between the A’s and Sox that “count”, but then rally ’round the Red, White, & Blue for the ‘official’ Opening Day.
I’ll get excited about baseball again when Bud Selig and his enablers exit stage left.

p.s. The Mets are a bunch of down-the-stretch chokers until proven otherwise.
Should have 8″ of snow by days end in Minneapolis. Metrodome is looking pretty good, ‘Snow-Out’ for opening day predicted for April 2010 in our new open air stadium.

So true Brian. The sooner Bud retires and goes back to selling used cars or whatever he did before he owned the Brewers, we’ll all be better off.

The best time of the year is when baseball starts up again…. because it means the hockey playoffs are not far away.
