I can’t see the story, but I am in the middle of troubleshooting a bunch of python that worked in 9.1 and is useless in 9.2 (thx ESRI!!). I sure hope Quantum puts them to shame.

    Michael,

We had the same thing happen when we upgraded to 9.2 from 9.1. We’ve fixed most of the issues, but it involved a lot of painstaking work combing through Python scripts fixing the geoprocessing tools whose scripting syntax changed in 9.2. It’s very frustrating to invest a lot of time and resources developing custom solutions that meet our needs and work pretty reliably only to have to go back and spend more time and resources fixing them with practically every upgrade.
