Pre-K Graduation

May 16th, 2008 · 9 Comments · GIS

So after almost a year of “hard work”, my son has graduated Pre-Kindergarten.

I’ve told him he’s got 3 choices:

Go to Kindergarten
Get a job
Enlist in the Army

He’s not freeloading on old Dad anymore.

Pacific 10 Referees Are the Worst

March 14th, 2008 · 22 Comments · Uncategorized

What a horrible way to end your season and possibly cost you a NCAA tournament birth. If you aren’t UCLA or USC in the Pac-10, nothing goes your way. To make that call at that point in the game is atrocious.

Anticipation

December 24th, 2007 · 4 Comments · Uncategorized

Its been a cold and blistery day here in Tempe, Arizona (well by Tempe standards at least) so I’m ready to get the fire burning and the Kahlua hot chocolate flowing. My son Connor has been bouncing off the walls full of Christmas candy and cookies and the anticipation that Santa is on his [...]

All U.S. Americans took it on the chin when Miss South Carolina tried to answer a question about U.S. American’s mapping abilities, but a new website has stepped in to being U.S. American’s children the maps they need.

U.S. Americans and No Maps

I know everyone has seen the video of Miss South Carolina and her take on us Americans not finding where we live on maps, but I’ve never seen it outlined this well. This should help you follow her thought process while answering the question.

What a morning… We come in to the office to smoke and the smell of burning electronics. Our huge A/C unit had died a horrible death… With no A/C, working in a glass building with no insulation (but its a hip/cool looking building and THAT is what matters), horrible smell and servers [...]
