Pre-K Graduation
So after almost a year of “hard work”, my son has graduated Pre-Kindergarten. I’ve told him he’s got 3 choices: Go to Kindergarten Get a job Enlist in the Army He’s not freeloading on old Dad anymore.

What a horrible way to end your season and possibly cost you a NCAA tournament birth. If you aren’t UCLA or USC in the Pac-10, nothing goes your way. To make that call at that point in the game is atrocious.
I’ll be busy with my new Nintendo Wii today (and probably the rest of the week). I’m already getting beaten at EA Playground and Donkey Kong Blast, but holding my own at MLB Power Pros and Carnival Games. It wasn’t all Wii though for me. The wife did get me something I had been really [...]
Its been a cold and blistery day here in Tempe, Arizona (well by Tempe standards at least) so I’m ready to get the fire burning and the Kahlua hot chocolate flowing. My son Connor has been bouncing off the walls full of Christmas candy and cookies and the anticipation that Santa is on his way. [...]
Seems like every year I make the same post. Arizona State beats Arizona to win the Territorial Cup again. Boy, looks like we could make the Fiesta Bowl this year. How about that!
All I wanted to do is let my son take the Jedi Training at Disneyland and Darth Vader shows up with Darth Maul and two Storm Troopers. He tried to convert Connor to the dark side, but Connor would have nothing of it and proceeded to battle Vader. Because of valor he took the Jedi [...]
Most of you already know this is Geography Awareness Week. There are many ways to help promote geography this week, but I’ve come up with my own. I’m taking the family to Disneyland. I’ll be back on Monday, have a great week guys. Connor’s last trip to Disneyland 18 months ago.
I played baseball at every level (well except pro) growing up so it is great to see my son want to play baseball as well. This morning was his first T-Ball game. and we both had a blast.
All U.S. Americans took it on the chin when Miss South Carolina tried to answer a question about U.S. American’s mapping abilities, but a new website has stepped in to being U.S. American’s children the maps they need. The children of the US America are in deep trouble. Because some people out there don’t have [...]
I know everyone has seen the video of Miss South Carolina and her take on us Americans not finding where we live on maps, but I’ve never seen it outlined this well. This should help you follow her thought process while answering the question. via The Morning Toast
What a morning… We come in to the office to smoke and the smell of burning electronics. Our huge A/C unit had died a horrible death… With no A/C, working in a glass building with no insulation (but its a hip/cool looking building and THAT is what matters), horrible smell and servers screaming for cool [...]
OK, well maybe not on the Simpsons… But if I was, this is how I’d look. Love the Simpsons Movie Avatar Generator….
Guess it didn’t go so well for someone. Found on street next to dorm building…
Found while looking up my optometrist’s phone number…
Having just bought my wife a 24″ iMac for her birthday, I’ve got a nice Dell PC ready to do something with. I figure since my son is now 4, he’s ready for his first computer of his own (I think I was 8 when my Dad passed his Apple ][ down to me). I’m [...]

Well I’m finally a homeowner again. My realtor got me the key this afternoon and the house is ours. The seller had a moment of insanity that I hope has passed and we both can more forward and be happy. I just want to say if I ever buy a house from any of you, [...]
I got the final 8 right too. As you can imagine I’m dominating my pool. And no, it never turns out this way. I’m usually last because I think I know NCAA basketball.
While I did post a lower score than my 3 year (to be fair he will be 4 next week so it isn’t as bad as it looks) old son at miniature golf today, he’s quite the natural. He handles the rubber putter better than I do.
