ESRI Business Partner Conference Day 1

March 17th, 2008 · 6 Comments · ESRI

There really wasn’t that much going on yesterday other than a couple points Jack made on stage that will probably be built upon during the Dev Summit:
1. Jack says Microsoft and Google are the key to collaborative GIS using ArcGIS Server as the back-end. The hope is ArcGIS will integrate with everything moving [...]

ESRI Business BP/Dev Summit Hotels Sold Out

January 14th, 2008 · 17 Comments · ESRI

Three people today have told me that the conference rate at Hilton Hotel is sold out (rooms are available, but they run about $300/night) and the Wyndam hotel is essentially sold out (only single nights are available) for both the Business Partner Conference and the Developer Summit. So if you want to attend either, [...]

MapInfo as an ESRI Business Partner?

March 20th, 2007 · 5 Comments · ESRI

Just something that I noticed at the ESRI Business Partner Conference. Group 1 is an ESRI Business Partner and a Gold Sponsor of the 2007 ESRI Business Partner Conference. Now that Group 1 will acquire MapInfo, will that make MapInfo an ESRI Business Patner?

At the ESRI Business Partner Conference

March 17th, 2007 · 5 Comments · ESRI

Well I’m all arrived and checked into the business partner conference. I think my NCAA bracket is still doing well, but I’m probably going to head down to the bar to see what is happening. I’m just a tad worried about Georgetown.

Going to the Developer Summit/Business Partner Conference, Better Get Moving

January 24th, 2007 · No Comments · ESRI

Just made my reservations at the Wyndham and it looks like the 19th and 20th are just about booked up. If you haven’t made your reservations and want to stay at the Wyndham, better get on the phone now. The two conferences overlapping is causing the middle to be quite a premium.

Changes to the 2007 ESRI Worldwide Business Partner Conference

January 24th, 2007 · No Comments · ESRI

I’ve been traveling the last few days so I’m very behind. Anyway I’m not sure how many noticed that there are some big changes to the ESRI Business Partner Conference. An email that I’m sure many received reads:
The ESRI Business Partner Conference (ESRI BPC) will have a new emphasis for 2007. The conference [...]

OK, its over. The BPC has ended and I’m heading back to Tempe tomorrow. Had a great time meeting up with everyone here and I’m glad we get to do this at least once a year. The Dev Summit was by far the highlight, but seeing all the new stuff planned (the [...]

Blogging the Business Partner Conference

March 19th, 2006 · No Comments · ESRI, GIS

I just got an email asking “WHAT ABOUT THE BPC?” (caps were hers, not mime).
I actually wasn’t planning to blog the Business Partner Conference so you’ll have to read about it in ArcNews. I will post about any new announcements, but given that we just got finished with the Dev Summit, I’m guessing that [...]
