I am a certified GIS Professional (GISP) and GIS developer, analyst, and consultant and have spent the last decade implementing, developing and consulting on GIS projects. My focus has been on helping my clients implement GIS and mapping systems that best fit with their own workflows. Technology has been changing so fast over the last couple of years and this blog is my attempt at helping others navigate the huge changes to GIS and mapping that have occurred.
I have experience with almost all of the large players in the geospatial field such as ESRI, MapInfo, Manifold, OSGeo (MapServer, GDAL, QGIS, OpenLayers), MapDotNet, Oracle, Microsoft and Google. I have lead development teams that have worked with .NET, Java, Python, VB, C++, FORTRAN and Ruby. Clients of mine have ranged from Department of Defense (Navy, USMC, Army, and Air Force), Department of Interior, State and Local Governments, Private Sector and Non-Profits.
I am available to consult on any GIS, web mapping or geospatial project. My contact information is below:
