EarthBrowser 3.0 Is Out

April 30th, 2008 · 6 Comments · GIS

Congratulations to Matt Giger for pushing out EarthBrowser 3.0. I have been following Matt’s triumphs and struggles on his blog as he’s worked at getting the latest EarthBrowser release out on his blog. I was more than happy to purchase a license and I encourage everyone else to do the same as well. I am very interested to see how folks use the Adobe Air based digital globe moving forward.

    @James

    Does this mean you take ‘adobe developers’ seriously now? If so, nice to be back in the fold…

    Jason, I’m having a hard time figuring out what you are talking about. I can’t find a post where I said anything about ‘adobe developers’.

    I believe you said something in your Flex AGS post a while back about developing with adobe products..I could be wrong though.

    Yea, Adobe development tools are poor IMO, but I didn’t say anything about folks who develop on them.

    Hey my hat is off to you for doing what you do with Adobe products. ;)

    Any impressions or comments about the new release?

    I’m thinking about plunking down some change for this. Just curious as others thoughts about the product.

    It’s a little slow on my computer, but that may be my computer. I purchased a copy. If nothing else, I like the Adobe AIR aspect of this application and want to see development continue.
