I’m leaving the oppressive heat of Tempe, AZ for the Pacific Northwest and GeoWeb 2008 this morning. I really can’t recall the last time I looked more forward to a conference than this one, should be a real blast. It has been years since I’ve been back to Vancouver.
I've been able to piece together a history of Canada from movies.

All us hosers are looking forward to having you up here. Should be an interesting conference this year. For all the years that GeoWeb, and prior to that GMLDays, have been so close by, this is the first year I’ve had time to attend! Lots of interesting folks going, should be a network’o'rama.

Good luck, James. Your panel discussion looks interesting. I spent several years (starting in the late 90s) working CIP efforts. I wish I could be there. I hope your panel discusses the issue of “criticality” and how that can be figured into data models and/or the tools that use them.

Hey James. It was nice meeting you in person tonight at GeoWeb. I really enjoy your blog and hope we can convince Ed Katibah to get back to blogging about all the great work going on with SQL Spatial. I know that I want to hear much more from Spatial Ed
