New Virtual Earth 3D Cities

I like that my hometown of Tempe, AZ is now included in the Virtual Earth 3D. My office looks great in 3D.

This is where the magic happens

If you rotate, you can even see Sun Devil Stadium (and home of the 23rd ranked Sun Devils) from my office.

4-0 baby! Stanford you are next.

Alas, my house is not modeled, but thanks for Google SketchUp, I’ve already take care of that. :)

Your office looks dirty and windowless.

Well it is the desert so everything is dirty. Windowless? No.

    1. Your office looks way better in your photo
    2. 2D cars look really weird next to 3D buildings

um….what kind of graphics card do you have? The building textures look horrible! When I’ve viewed buildings in say Houston or Denver, the reproduction is almost flawless.

Just dropping by local (Arizona) blogs.

I bike by that stadium 5 days a week. I’ve never been in it.

I think your blog will come in handy later on. I’ve tried MapPoint with C#, but I never had any real use for it. Maybe some geotagged photos in the future.

Very cool :-) They just added Chicago recently and Steve posted a flyby video of the major landmarks - I like it.
