I was able to load the SDSFIE25.xml into this new version… it took just a few minutes.
Attempting to setup the page to print to an Acrobat file was a pain - I wanted to print to a Custom Postscript page size, but the page setup dialog does not allow access to the printer setup tabs I needed to modify the custom page dimensions.
Attempting to enter this info when selecting Print/Preferences does not work.
Any ideas how to do this? I imagine the SDSFIE diagram is too large even for my 42″ plotter to handle…

Hi Brian,
I was able to print the SDSFIE diagram successfully to PDF using Adobe Acrobat Professional with a page size of 10,000 x 10,000. This resulted in a ten page PDF document.
Here are the steps to modify an Adobe Acrobat Professinal page size.
1) Go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes,
Click OK.
2) Right click on Adobe PDF and select Printing Preferences,
3) Click the Adobe PDF Settings tab,
4) Select “Custom 1″ int he Page Size dropdown list,
5) Click Add…
6) Click Point and then enter 10000 for width and height,
7) Click Add/Modify
In the ArcGIS Diagrammer printer setup select “Adobe PDF” as the printer and “Custom 1″ as the page size.
Regards,
Richie

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the xy resolution for your feature classes with the GDB diagrammer 9.2 beta?. I see the ability to edit the tolerance but alas not the resolution. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Hi Jason,
ArcCatalog’s “XY resolution” for a feature class is equivalent to the inverse of ArcGIS Diagrammer’s “XY scale”.
That is:
XYResolution = 1 / XYScale, or
1 / XYResolution = XYScale
Here is a recent whitepaper that explains the geodatabase coordinate management in 9.2 and pre-9.2.

Hope this helps.
