I guess my JRE has been updated and as a result I now have a huge indicator when Java plugin is going to crash my browser.
What is it with orange anyway? When did that color become cool again? Frankly it stands out like a sore thumb. At least I have a better alert to avoid any web pages with applets.
The old Java plugin loader looked like this:

James, you didn’t get it yet? Orange is soo Web 2.0 and sexy! lol Anyways, other than the color the new logo looks better in someways while the old one is plain crap.

H’mm Orange seems to be the colour…
TV1, New Zealand Govt owned but operates as commercial entity, just laid off a bunch of staff, mostly news reporters, while spending $300,000 changing their logo. The only difference was the “One” text changed from White to… wait for it…. Orange.
Apparently it’s “warmer”.
