I almost went to Coors today to see the rockies but bailed due to overload of things-to-do. Awesome to see the boys of summer back at it… I’ll go catch a game in a week or so when the crowds die down and the cheap seats are available… as usual my heart is with the Jays and my wallet is with the Red Sox. I’ll be sure to blog some photos when Barry and the Giants come to town.
Late commenting on this, but I’ve found that I really enjoy watching minor league ball better than the majors. The Wichita Wranglers (although moving after this season) are great to watch. I can get seats 4 rows back from the dugout that include servers to fetch my beer (or whatever) for $10. The same seats at the K (where the Royals play) cost about $200.
And by minor league, I don’t just mean the farm clubs for the majors. The independent leagues are great too.
Last year I was at ESRI St. Louis and took in a River City Rascals game with my brother. Had a great time, and I think we got in free with a coupon from a local convenience store chain.

My Giants won’t be there, but at least we can piss off the rest of MLB with Barry Bonds in the lineup.

So, James. Sounds like you’re a Dodgers fan?
What’s ASU looking like this Spring?
