Well I’m finally a homeowner again. My realtor got me the key this afternoon and the house is ours. The seller had a moment of insanity that I hope has passed and we both can more forward and be happy. I just want to say if I ever buy a house from any of you, I don’t want your old neckties. I’m always glad to give to back to you ASAP even if you did forget them and tried to break into my house to retrieve them.

Congrats!
If I leave any neck ties… you are welcome to keep them
Now the first thing to do… change all the locks, you have no idea who has the keys from the previous owner.

Congratulations James. I don’t own any neckties so you would never have to worry about me leaving any. I also closed on my house in GA on Friday, not to steal your thunder.

@Chad
I’m not sure anyone wears neckties in Phoenix except lawyers anymore.

Hey, I get my new house today! Nice to have a roof over our heads… congrats — and I too will change the locks
Maybe we should just swap locks–I’ll mail you my lock cores if you mail me yours? Oh, wait — what do we do while they’re in transit? lol.

Way to buy into the beginning of the Phoenix real estate crash! Hope you’re ready to take a 40-50% haircut over the next few years…

Ah I sold at the highpoint, but thanks for caring…. When I sell the house in 20 years I’m sure I’ll make just a little money. Plus I’m living closer to work and in a better school district for my son.
