New Manifold Blog

January 22nd, 2007 · 11 Comments · GIS, Manifold

Taking a gander though my referrers, I see that a new Manifold “fan blog” has started up. Manifold = God? has the tagline “Searching for the Ultimate Truth about Manifold GIS, the Best GIS the World has Ever Seen, and Ever Will See…”. I’m subscribed!

James is going to hell for this image

Looks like I wasn’t the first to notice this gem. That is what I get for being in the field all day.

Thanks for making my Monday James. I’m laughing my ass off here.

Interesting. I actually didn’t believe it when I saw it. In true Manifold fashion I actually have found 2 addresses for Manifold on their website. One from the ‘About Us section and the other from the Version 7 press release. I would bet that the press release is the actually address.. and therefore this guy got it wrong. Either way it’s not a big deal. Basically it’s a block further down the street. MS even has bird’s eye images of the area.

Oops…. I was looking at this press release. Which is a little older than the one I linked to above. That is the one with the different address. Both of the ones I linked to above say 1805 N Carson. Shesh… it’s too late I’m going home.

Hey James you can’t win them all :)

Where do I send my check in the mail to the guy who took this photo! It is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Especially when you consider what blowhards these guys are: did they really think nobody would find out about their sham organization?

I love the reflection in the window “Investors Club” :-)

I don’t think that Manifold would be a good investment with a building like that - HA, HA, HA….

    ….you’ve been ratted out boys!

Jojo- Ratted out? Honestly who cares? If Dimitri and his Russian developers can make a huge profit in America, more power to them. Yeah, Manifold is a very odd company. They have some great ideas and I like the overall concept of what they are trying to achieve with the product, but the way the company is run is simply bizarre. What is equally bizarre is the obsession from everyone else.

Looks like they got the address wrong:

The sign on the door says 1805.

Here is the published address of Manifold:
    Manifold Net Ltd.
    1945 North Carson Street
    Suite 700
    Carson City, NV 89701

Lay off the building. It may be the nicest one in all of Carson City. I went to kindergarten there…. But I just ordered the product after sending 9k for our annual software maintanence to esri. Dmitri you may be the man if this works out….
