ArcGIS for Autocad a Tad Premature?

Looks like Don pulled his post on ArcGIS for Autocad. If the ESRI salesman doesn’t get to announce something they get a little pissed about it.

Has anyone used ArcGIS for AutoCAD? I finally got upgraded from ACAD2004 to ACAD2007, so I installed it. I then realized I didn’t have the address of any ArcGIS servers in our company currently available to test.

Then – AutoCAD crashed everytime I switched from paper to model space. Searching ESRI support for any help on this yielded nothing.

Anyone manage to make this work?

I’ll give it a shot today. I’ve not played with it for some time. I’m still waiting for the CAD client.

For me it crashed when I moved from model space to paper space. Maybe it does that either way.
