Looks like it is going to be a busy November. We’re going to upgrade the rest of our servers to Windows Server 2003 and at the same time upgrade our last Oracle 8i to 10g. On top of all this we’ve got the ArcGIS 9.2 upgrade to install. Seems like someone will be spending some time in our server room (well more like server closet). At least our RedHat doesn’t need to be upgraded.

James:
Just run those install disks and hit “Next–>Next–>Done” and you should be good to go with everything functioning exactly as before, only better.
And now that you spilled publicly that you’ll be upgrading three major packages simultaneously, the respective sales reps can just blame the other guy.
If I were you, I’d lay in an extra supply of Homer Simpson clip art for the blog updates….

I’m looking for volunteers in our office to run the installs for me. No takers.
As you say though, it should work really smooth without any problems.
*sigh*

The ESRI web site says that 9.2 will be out in October/November. Today is October 20th…..Hmmmm….any idea when the actual release date is?
Thanks!
