Thanks for all the updates on the conference - its appreciated along with your opinions - you’ve sold me on the cartographic capabilities of the ‘SERVER’ - we have IMS and SDE and I could not get past another change in license strategies to give a flip about the new GIS Server. But I love good maps and anything that helps me make a better map is welcome.
Nice tip about “selling” the ‘publish mapfile to explorer’ niche - as soon as you said that I had ten ideas of who could use that type of service.

I represent a global GIS company headquartered in India. We have been exhibiting at the ESRI cionference for the last four years and have witnessed the increase in the exhibit space each year. What was really significant was that the quality of people who visited our booth improved each year. The visitors to the booth were more knowledgebale, appreciated the good work that we do and above all were not suckers for just booth give aways
