ESRI Data & Maps and StreetMap USA 2006 Data Update

June 28th, 2006 · 1 Comment · ArcGIS Desktop, ESRI, GIS

I haven’t seen anyone to my knowledge post about it but ESRI has a web page set up where users of ArcGIS can request a 2006 update to Data & Maps and StreetMap USA (USA only of course) that includes all of the U. S. Tele Atlas and Europe basemap data, minor corrections and enhancements. You’ll need to have your maintenance paid up to get the update, but it is free.

Git your Tele Atlas on!

I was hoping to get streetmaps so I could complete a project for my intro to GIS class at community college. I guess I’ll have to search elsewhere, since, according to this site, the download is no longer available here.

I’m trying to learn, more than anything, how to geocode, and maps are a part of the data set I’ll be needing.

    thanks for reading this,
    cisco..
