I have the same problem both with the free version, and the Pro version.

Is there a better cookbook out there than what is provided in ESRI documentation? ANy trials and tribulations you could start posting? I am a well-versed GIS desktop and web-GIS user, but NOT a hardcore Programmer, so anything I can be aware of before going into the room with our IT professional, would be most helpful.
