143 Days of Record-Setting Dryness Is Over
Its raining today, finally. After almost 5 months of no rain I’m so happy to be able to walk outside and get wet. My son seemed to have forgotten what rain was really like because he kept asking me why it was so wet outside and where it was coming from.
Somewhere out there is the backyard
And of course snow in the desert
cool… on the flip side, my kids wonder what that yellow thing is when the sun comes out… we had about 90 straight days of cloud and rain here on Vancouver Island over the winter and set some nifty records to boot.. talk about depressing! Mind-you, today its actually sunny and about 50 degrees after getting snow 2 days ago… enjoy the rain;0)
Yeah, I saw snow up in the scottsdale mountains yesterday! I didn’t think the white stuff made it into this county.
